NTCO Certification - Certified Phlebotomy Technician

Phlebotomy technicians are healthcare professionals responsible mainly for drawing blood from patients. They are trained to perform various functions such as venipuncture, micro-collection, and specimen processing and handling while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality. They work hand in hand with doctors, nurses, and other allied professionals for patient best outcomes.

Phlebotomy is an invasive science - blood must be drawn from a living human body. For this reason, the phlebotomist must be well versed in the art of phlebotomy and confident in their skills. One way to become confident is to become certified through NTCO by passing a rigorous examination that validates your training and skills.
